HYDRO 300
Unmanned high-precision underwater surveying
IVM's underwater photogrammetry camera "HYDRO series" is an underwater photogrammetry device that applies SLAM technology.
The HYDRO series continuously takes still images of the object, generates a 3D point cloud from the underwater still images, and creates a 3D rendering model. It is possible to create high-definition models of natural structures such as coral reefs, wave-dissipating blocks installed on the seabed, damage to harbor seawalls, and corrosion and expansion of underwater steel structures. Point cloud output can be done in real time using the IVM SLAM function, but by post-processing with dedicated software, it is possible to reproduce modeling with an unevenness of less than 1 mm. We have achieved 1/9,000 scale accuracy in underwater surveying and received Bureau Veritas certification in 2019.

The highly versatile HYDRO 300 features two cameras with large 1"/12 megapixel high-resolution image sensors, a GPU-based image processing engine, and a dedicated 75,000 lumen output (equivalent to 92 60W incandescent light bulbs). The underwater camera with integrated high-intensity LED can be attached to small ROVs such as BlueROV2, observation class ROVs such as Valor, and large work class ROVs, and can be used to monitor marine structures even in turbid underwater environments. We have accumulated a lot of actual measurements of infrastructure facilities such as objects, ports and dams.
''HYDRO 100'' has been reduced in size and cost to a size that can be mounted on small observation class ROVs such as BlueROV2. It is powered by battery power and can be operated using Ethernet cable communication, making underwater photogrammetry more accessible.

Subsea Tech's "Mini Tortuga XP4" is a compact, high-performance inspection ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) rated for depths of up to 300 meters. Featuring advanced equipment integration capabilities, eight thrusters, and 6DOF (degree of freedom) control, it maintains precise station-keeping even in currents of up to 3 knots. Designed as a highly flexible platform, the Mini Tortuga XP4 allows configurations to be adapted to various survey and inspection tasks as well as specific operational requirements. By equipping it with the "IVM HYDRO 300" photogrammetry camera, users can generate 3D models of underwater structures with sub-millimeter precision, alongside a wide range of other underwater inspection capabilities.
Oceanbotics's "SRV-8" is an ROV ideally suited for both inspection and various recovery operations. It is compact and highly maneuverable, offering rapid deployment capabilities that allow operations to begin almost immediately. Furthermore, with enhanced thruster output and increased payload capacity, it is capable of handling demanding marine operations, including open-ocean work, operations in strong currents, and complex missions. With a maximum operating depth of 350 meters, a setup time of just three minutes, and up to eight hours of operation via swappable internal batteries, it is an ROV system that a wide range of users can easily and quickly deploy and operate.

Improved water positioning accuracy - Ranger 2 USBL family and Sprint/Nav transponder family
From near-shore coastal waters to the open ocean, Sonardyne's range of Ultra-Short BaseLine (USBL) acoustic positioning systems — comprising of the Micro-Ranger 2, Mini-Ranger 2, and Ranger 2 — provides the capability to accurately determine the location of multiple underwater targets relative to the vessel.
The Micro-Ranger 2 and Mini-Ranger 2 offer operational ranges of up to 995 m and 4,000 m, respectively, making them ideal for temporary or permanent installation on Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and small vessels. The Ranger 2 is capable of tracking targets at ranges exceeding 7,000 m and also provides position reference data to vessels equipped with Dynamic Positioning (DP) systems.

In addition to USBL, Sonardyne also manufactures transponders that transmit the vessel's position. A transponder is a product used to determine a definitive location, and Sonardyne's "Nano" and "Sprint Nav" transponder series have a variety of applications.
The Nano Transponder is the smallest USBL transponder to date that can be used with our Ranger 2 USBL series.
It is suitable for AUV, ROV, and diver operations, and also supports custom integration with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) models.
When conducting environmental surveys or coastal scientific research, the Nano offers exceptional reliability and performance, providing stable connectivity and high operational control even underwater.
SPRINT-Nav is a system that integrates Sonardyne's SPRINT inertial sensor, Syrinx DVL, and high-precision intelligent pressure sensor into a single, compact housing. This eliminates the need for separate DVLs, pressure sensors, and INS/AHRS units, providing all of their functions in one device.
